Description
Que Pole is a simple yet effective piece of equipment designed for pedestrian traffic management and crowd control. It consists of a weighted base, a vertical pole (post), and typically incorporates a retractable nylon belt mechanism housed at the top (though velvet ropes are also common). These poles allow businesses and organizations to quickly and flexibly set up defined queues, restrict access to specific areas, or direct customers toward service points (e.g., bank tellers, airport check-in, retail counters).
Features:
- Four-Way Connection: The head of the stanchion typically features a four-way adaptor or multiple belt receivers. This allows for belts to be connected from three different directions to create versatile queuing shapes straight lines.
- Self-Retracting Belt: Houses a spring-loaded nylon or polyester belt that easily extends up to meters. The mechanism provides a slow, controlled retraction for user safety and prevents the belt from snapping back rapidly.
- Weighted Base: Features a heavy circular base (often cast iron or filled with concrete) covered with a protective shell.
- Non-Scuff Base Ring: The bottom of the base is often equipped with rubber pads or a full rubber
- Durable Post Finish: The posts are usually made of stainless steel (for premium/wet areas)
