Foldable Cone also known as a Collapsible Traffic Cone or Retractable Safety Cone, is a portable safety device designed for temporary traffic control, hazard marking, and emergency situations. Its distinguishing feature is the ability to quickly compress or fold down into a flat, compact disc for incredibly easy storage and transport.
Features:
- Collapsible Body: The conical section is typically constructed from a flexible, high-visibility material like waterproof nylon fabric or a flexible plastic. It features an internal spring or ring structure that allows it to be pushed down flat when not in use and pop up instantly when deployed.
- Color: Almost always a bright, fluorescent color, most commonly orange, to ensure high daytime visibility.
- Reflective Elements: Equipped with reflective bands or strips (often made of 3M reflective tape) that enhance visibility in low-light conditions, at night, or in adverse weather by reflecting light from vehicle headlights.
