FACE WASH AND SHOWER plumbed combination safety fixture designed to provide simultaneous, high-volume drenching for the entire body and gentle flushing for the face and eyes. This unit is the highest standard of emergency wash equipment, mandatory for areas handling highly corrosive, toxic, or hazardous materials.
Features:
- Combination Unit Design: Integrates a full-body Safety Shower and a dedicated Facewash/Eyewash Station onto a single, freestanding vertical pipe (pedestal-mounted). This allows a severely contaminated user to activate both features simultaneously for complete decontamination
- Shower Head: Features a large, high-flow shower head (often made of durable ABS plastic or stainless steel) designed to deliver a specific pattern and volume of water to quickly drench the user’s entire body. The head is easily visible at the top of the unit.
- Shower Activation: Activated by a prominent, easy-to-grab pull rod or triangular handle (often stainless steel or galvanized steel) which operates a stay-open valve.
- Separate Fixture: Located lower on the pedestal for easy access, featuring a distinct green basin and dual spray heads.
- Nozzles: Equipped with aerated eyewash/facewash nozzles with protective dust covers, designed to deliver a soft, controlled flow specifically to the eyes and face without causing further injury.
