Climax Safety Helmet 5RS/5RG is a widely used industrial hard hat designed for impact protection and electrical insulation, ideal for construction, manufacturing, and electrical work environments.
The main difference between the Safety Helmet 5RS and 5RG models is typically the type of harness adjustment: the 5RS generally features a manual/slip ratchet adjustment, while the 5RG model often includes a ratchet (toothed wheel) adjustment for quicker, one-hand sizing. However both of the harnesses are available with AKB SAFETY.
Features:
- Impact Protection (EN 397): Designed to provide optimal protection against falling objects like stones, bricks, and tiles. The shell is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), reinforced with ribs for greater rigidity.
- Electrical Insulation (EN 50365, Class 0): This is a key feature, as the helmet provides protection against electrical discharges up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC in low-voltage installations.
- Harness: Both models utilize a 6-point plastic harness system, which helps absorb impact energy and offers stability.
- 5RS: Typically has a manual/slip ratchet adjustment (neck band with multiple holes).
- 5RG: Typically features a ratchet/wheel adjustment (toothed wheel) on the nape for easy, precise sizing.
